DISASTER RELIEF FOR FIRE VICTIMS

We are currently assisting El Paso County with distribution of hay to victims of the Black Forest Fire.

We are grateful for the opportunity to provide support for victims of this devastating fire. The outpouring of generosity from around the state is incredibly heartwarming. We are getting calls daily from people who want to donate hay and volunteer!

Pick up (or donate) hay at 13635 Murphy Road on the border of Elbert and Black Forest: Weekdays 2:00 PM-7:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. If those times don’t work, please call the Hay Hotline at 719-306-5595. If anyone would like to donate big bales, call the Hay Hotline first so we can arrange a loader.

Please bring proof of your address if you need assistance from the Foodbank. We also have chicken and pig feed; grain; and sweet feed; fly spray; halters; lead ropes; buckets; and brushes.

To make a monetary donation, you can mail a check to 5178 South Elk Ridge Road, Evergreen, CO 80439, or click on the green DONATE button at left. This will take you to a PayPal window where you can make a secure donation.

We are very excited to say we have located quality hay at a reasonable price. Your donations will be pooled to make a larger, more economical purchase.
